No batch segregation on academic performance; batches fixed by order of admission
What the Bill says
Batch segregation on academic performance grounds shall not be done, as it leads to excessive pressure affecting mental health. Batches must be formed in the order of entry or admission and must not be changed until the course is completed.
Why it matters
This is the provision most likely to change classroom practice. It ends both the "top batch" model and, as drafted, the ability to move a struggling student into a slower, more supported batch mid-year.
